Live at the Car Cave!
Hello gang!
I hope you’re managing to stay safe and well, and thank you so much for your continued support. All of your purchases, streams, follows and likes really help us to keep making new music at a time when there aren’t any gigs to play.
Speaking of new stuff, I’m very excited to announce that the wonderful Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival will be premiering a brand new, never before seen JP & the HH live session ‘Live at the Car Cave’.
The session was filmed at the Car Cave, Scotland, recorded and mixed by Jim Shemilt of Greenstone Audio, and filmed and edited by Graeme Watt of 8 Acre Films.
It was great fun to play a set of original Hillmans material surrounded by beautiful vintage vehicles and special thanks have to go to Alan Potts for granting us access, and to Charlie Wild for reminding me that my cousin imports vintage cars.
The footage will premiere on the opening night of the Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival online event, Thursday Dec 3rd, and we’ll be sharing the bill with the devastatingly powerful Gerry Jablonski Band featuring special guest Alan Nimmo.
Head over to https://edinburghjazzfestival.com/whats-on/scottish-jazz-blues-weekend.html?date= to get your tickets, and be sure to check out the rest of the bill as well.
Thanks for reading, and stay tuned for another very exciting announcement coming really soon!
